Last week Medium Rare won its first award, the Jim DeMulling prize, at the 41st Humboldt Film Festival in California. The Humboldt Film Fest is the oldest student-run film festival in the world, and has showcased innovative cinema since 1967.

 

We have also just returned from the Ankara International Film Festival and the Lille European Short Film Festival where we were invited to present Medium Rare. Both festivals were lots of fun and Medium Rare had a great reception.

 

Upcoming film festivals where Medium Rare will be shown in April are:

Britspotting – a festival showcasing outstanding British film productions. It starts in Berlin and then tours across Germany

Bucharest International Film Festival, Romania

Rochester International Film Festival, New York, USA, the longest running short film festival in the world
